Yes, it helps keep out rain and snow and birds and animals. Caps are available in stainless steel and galvanized metal.
How often should my chimney be cleaned and inspected?
Warranty on stainless steel liners require annual inspections and maintenance as needed by us or another CSIA Certified chimney sweep.
Should I have annual inspections?
Yes, Chimneys, roofing and gutters should be inspected annually because it is a preventative measure. Annual inspections will catch issues early and save money in the long run.
